The school is blocking a required port that the XBOX needs to connect to live servers. Solution? Yes, there is one. It was kinda dumb luck, but I bought the XBOX Wireless router (long story) well all you need is a Wireless Hub to connect into and the Wireless router for XBOX and you are in business. Now I am not saying this will work for everyone, but it did for me. Because of how Wireless connections work it routes its signal through a different port that is generally open. Good luck!
