Classic.
Yeah but I went and saw that movie when it came out and thought it was funny and laughed as I had just quit a job I didn't like but it wasn't "corporate". I went to work at an internet company and it was totally cool(think typical stereotype late 90s early 2000 internet company none corporate plenty of fun and money), but the company merged and the "suits" got envolved. And slowly but surely my office turned into that office space office. Equipment wouldn't work. Stupid talking head bosses. Layoffs. Consultants and outsiders telling people how to do their jobs. Company crapped on long time employees and wouldn't fire them but would screw with them just so they would quit. Rumors runnig wild over who is going to get axed next. And the worst thing...my life was like that movie from the time I got up to the time I went home. I fought through gridlock traffic for hours a day everyday. I would then go home to a crappy apartment with paper thin walls. Hell the fact I was IN Texas and my office complex looked so much like the one in Office Space was super creepy. One of the coolest things though was the day I quit...turned on the TV and Office Space was on. Had a huge laugh at that one.
