I'm loving the movie more and more considering that my major is Computer Science, my cousin
is a CS major, and my uncle is a CS Major, and we're all working or going to be working in
programming type job things...

It's one of the only 90s movies I truely love. Just plain awesome.

Michael Bolton : There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys.
Samir : Hmm... well why don't you just go by Mike instead of Michael?
Michael Bolton : No way. Why should I change? He's the one who sucks.

I've watched this movie so much... I have the whole thing pretty much memorized as well as picked out the TINIEST insignificant (but funny) details.

For example... I enjoy how the apples shut down to a C:\ prompt.

I also love the "pointless" cuts and scenes. One is where Lawrence and Peter are talking in his apartment, and it suddenly cuts to Lawrence after he says "Yeah, I gotta wake my ass up every day at 6 AM.. and drive up to Boscaledas (?)"

*cut to Lawrence with a serious face*

"Yeah I'm doin the drywall up there at the new McDonald's."

*cut away*

I mean, seriously, hahahaha. It totally doesn't belong, but it's one of those funny lil things about it.

Another is Michael, when talking about the virus, he puts like 9238492 packets of sugar in his coffee.

The tiny little detail that I still think is hilarious is when that bitch says "Looks like somebodies got a case of the Mondays!" and they cut to Samir's face. Thats humor.

i used to just skip half the movie to watch that lawrence and peter talk about monday. His facial expressions are just classic. On a side note, a wonder how many takes it took them to do that scene or some of the other rediculous parts.
They need a special edition version of this movie out

What a great movie, and so true to life.

For those of you who have not been in the corporate world yet, real-life bosses aren't the raging red-faced screaming assholes like you see in most movies and cartoons. Instead they're pretty much exactly like the "Office Space" guy.

Peter: So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.
Dr. Swanson: What about today? Is today the worst day of your life?
Peter: Yeah.
Dr. Swanson: Wow, that's messed up.

Such a great movie.

Entertainment Weekly did a piece a year ago on the popularity of {i]Office Space[/i] and even the 20th Century Fox representative was surprised that O.S. was one of their Top 20 sellers ever. This studio is over 50 years and a FIVE year old movie is in their Top 20. Just goes to prove how genious it is. What? You didn't like that factoid? Well, FUCK OFF!! IS THAT ENOUGH FLAIR FOR YA?

Definitely a great movie, I've tried several times to get my gf to watch it, but never got around to it. it's one of those movies that gets a bit funnier everytime you watch it. Although many my disagree, super troopers was one i found much funnier the second time.

I can't say it's a genius of a movie, but it's view of high-tech cubie life in the '90s is spot-on. It's a movie for all of us who KNOW we're more intelligent than the corporate morons we work for, but see no way out.

My favorite line: "PC Load Letter? What the FUCK does that mean?" Because I've been there...

Classic.

Yeah but I went and saw that movie when it came out and thought it was funny and laughed as I had just quit a job I didn't like but it wasn't "corporate". I went to work at an internet company and it was totally cool(think typical stereotype late 90s early 2000 internet company none corporate plenty of fun and money), but the company merged and the "suits" got envolved. And slowly but surely my office turned into that office space office. Equipment wouldn't work. Stupid talking head bosses. Layoffs. Consultants and outsiders telling people how to do their jobs. Company crapped on long time employees and wouldn't fire them but would screw with them just so they would quit. Rumors runnig wild over who is going to get axed next. And the worst thing...my life was like that movie from the time I got up to the time I went home. I fought through gridlock traffic for hours a day everyday. I would then go home to a crappy apartment with paper thin walls. Hell the fact I was IN Texas and my office complex looked so much like the one in Office Space was super creepy. One of the coolest things though was the day I quit...turned on the TV and Office Space was on. Had a huge laugh at that one.
