Actually there are several ways to look at this. I am sure the FBI and the necessary agencies have seen this tape and are investigating it as we speak. So, why hold the tape back, 3 good reasons I can think of, take your pick.
A) ABC is afraid that with all the problems already regarding voter fraud BOTH parties would claim this tape a scare tactic to keep people from voting.
B) ABC feels in some way by the way the terrorists talk it could influence people's votes and therefore should not be seen until after the election.
C) ABC feels this tape came from unsubstaniated sources and could be a hoax.
My problem with all this is why even announce they have it at all? They are only creating more fear and accusations than the tape probably would. They should not have said anything about it at all.

I just love people who use the excuse "I use/do this because I LOVE the feeling/joy/happiness it brings me" and expect you to be ok with that as you watch them destroy their life blindly following. My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?"
