I know of at least one subscription site like that; they have a very poor security scheme though, so I have been able to check it out at some length for free.
I was frankly surprised at the size of the active community, the sheer number of people interested in filming themselves who were able to find the site and contribute short clips such that there is new material every single day. In that sense your idea seems like one that would work.
Using bittorrent sounds like a great way to get around bandwidth considerations, but opens the door to other kinds of minor problems. I belong to another forum that has a subforum for trading porn, and a member-donated torrent tracker, and there is always squabbling over ratios and an ongoing need for minor technical support for people trying to connect through routers and firewalls. And any related forums must be VERY strictly moderated, with a swift hand, as there will always be some jerk who makes negative comments about (the occasional) personal material shared by a member that can result in hurt feelings and dwindling contributions.
I am new here and have no access to the Tilted eye-candy areas; perhaps they have a novel approach to such issues that works well. In any case, there's maybe some food for thought.
I'd personally be very interested in such a site, but I don't know that I would want to share anything of myself and my partner. Does your vision only allow access by contributing members? If so, how do you gauge an appropriate level of activity? Something else to think about.
Anyway, just some things that crossed my mind. Do keep us updated, sounds like a very interesting idea.
