my point here - well it isnt a point rather than trying to get rid of people BASHING the other canidate. I disagree with John Kerry on many things, but I dont think he is the devil. What started my thinking was on the phone with a cousin and we got to talking about politics, and she resorted to " Bush lied, people died" and thats fine to say if you believe it, but if we can realize there is good in some policies - we can raise political dicussion to something other than personal attacks

Sometimes I wish we could discuss political policies and try to keep canidates names out of it- like premetive military action for terrorism, is it possible to have a conversation on the Pros and Cons and peoples stances on this WITHOUT resorting to mentioning how John Kerrys plan would be more inclusive of the world, or Bush rushed to war....
If people are up for it, lets make a new thread on issues like these. With election drawing nearer, Im getting more irked by Canidate threads, and more into policy threads- were we can dicuss politics without infusing the election into it- as hard as that may be, i think we might be able to have a more reasoned and intellegent dicussion on these issues - because This close to nov 2nd people get nasty - on both sides
