Love Pearl Jam! Saw them in MSG during the Riot Act tour, both nights. Definitely one of the best concert experiences of my life! I think their latest albums have been their best. Yield is amazing, so is Riot Act, listened to it this morning, as well as No Code and Binaural. I also love the fact that they are a politically motivated band as well, speaking out when others are afraid to...and sticking to their word by avoiding hypocritical actions, i.e. music videos, cooperating with large corporations, etc.
A friend of mine once said they are this generation's "Doors". i think that might be a pretty good comparison, though I think Pearl jam's music is more relevant and creative than the Doors, but I am definitely biased.
