Yes, I agree completely.
Oftentimes the umpires are stubborn and don't review, let alone, overturn calls.
They definitely did the right thing here, and if they hadn't, can you imagine the ripple effect this would have had through the media, fans, and TV outlets?
Last night I was talking to my dad, and told him it would be interesting if a Boston journalist would write an article as if the play hadn't been overturned, and ultimately led to the Red Sox losing the series.
It was the first time I've seen a play like that, and I have to give props to the umpires for stepping back, talking, and making the right decision at a key moment.
Game 7 tonight is going to be THE game this year IMO, and I'm sure the ratings for it will be through the roof.
