Does a game of that magnitute EVER live up to its hype? No
. That said, I think Halo is possibly the most over-rated game off ALL time. Shoot 50 enemies, open door, shoot 50 more enemies, beat level, play same level backwards, shoot 50 enemies, open door, etc....I fail to see what is it about this game that people love so much....must be the MP.
