Sorry but in the evolution vs. creation debate there is one major difference between the two.
Evolution is the best possible model using the best scientific information currently available. While not proved conclusively, it is based on fact.
Creation is religion, pure and simple. It has as much place in a biology class as the idea that the world is a plate riding on the back of a giant turtle.
