Lemme see... a researcher with an obvious bias against PC stuff finds examples of PC things in classrooms, and writes a report based on that. A reporter with a similar bias picks the juicy and outrageous examples, and tries to convince us that this is the norm, instead of the exception. Readers get justifiably upset and agree with the reporter that this is a bad thing. Reporter is happy, people are outraged, and the original research isn't even relevant anymore.
IMHO, as bad as some of the PC stuff is, in general it's not nearly as bad as this reporter wants us to believe...
