If you have to keep it private, you are basically out of the relationship, or at least the best intimate part of it?
Actually, that would make the start of a great thread: how much privacy should we all have from our spouses? What don't we tell them? Conduct? Thoughts? Feelings? You know, those views of ours that we keep really really private.
The affair is just one aspect of privacy, and trust.
