Probably the next batter; Pedro doesn't seem to discriminate who he hits; remember the ever-so-worthless Karim Garcia?
I expect things to be much the same as last night. I think the Yanks will get to Pedro for 4 runs but I think he'll go at least 7 maybe 8 innings. In Game 2 against Anaheim, Pedro was back to the old Pedro. Granted, Anaheim ain't the Yanks, but I think it gave him some confidence going into this game.
Jon Lieber. Jon Lieber. Hmmmmm. I would love to bash this guy, but I think he could give the Yanks a solid start like Burkett did for the Sox in Game 6 of last year's ALCS and possibly pull out a win. The Sox need to get going early on him. If they had gotten even one run early on Mussina last night, things definitely would've been different.
Sox will take this game 5-4. I expect big things from Millar and Mueller tonight. Both are lifetime .400+ hitters against Lieber.
And hey, if the Sox win tonight, it's down to a best of five with the Boston holding the home field advantage.
