I'm looking at importing some video to my computer and need some advice.

I see two main ways of doing it. Buying a USB device or a video card. I have no problem opening up the box and messing around so convience of installation isn't a factor.

What I'd like to be able to do is make MPEGs, VCDs and maybe DVDs of home vidoes. These videos are not recorded on a digital video records so I'll be needing analog inputs (RCA).
