I have tried a ton of different brands of both whey and sot protein shakes. I prefer whey, but becareful if you are lactose intolerant. You may be a little stinky the rest of the day. Whey will typically absorb into your body faster, so great for and after workout drink. Soy is good for a meal replacement since it will absorb much slower. Experiment with a blender, some ice, and just about anything you can think of. I like peanut butter, chocolate flavored shake and an occasional banana. The banana is great because the potasium will help you not get sore so easily.
