Astragalus is related to the bean and legume family. I'm guessing that your problem with honey is that you are getting just generic honey. The pollon that it was made from could have come from a flower or plant that you are allergic to. If you go to the health food side of your grocery they more than likely will have different kinds of honey made in your area, they will be labled with the type of plant that the pollon came from, I would reccomend you getting one that is not from a type of plant that you are allergic to. I know that honey made in your area wll help build up an immunity to the pollon in the air in your area. What you should do is take a table spoon of honey a day and your allergies should dwindle after the first week and should be completely gone by week two. I hope this helps
