need help with IP addresses.
forgive my lack of computer knowledge, but what exactly is your ip address and how important is it in computer privacy?
i ask this because while i was surfing the web i received one of those popups that show you your ip address, what operating system your using, and how much space on your computer...and it freaked me out. my shit is being broadcasted all over the internet!
what type of information can people on the web get from your computer with your ip address?
