I suspect he might have been wearing a wire. Yet, I haven't seen a backside shot of kerry. Could they have been television mics?
also, his 'let me finish' could have been to the moderator in regards to body language if
he wasn't answering the question. So he may have had plenty of time, but both candidates kept answering questions in reference to the one before it, so he may have been getting a funny face from Lehrer if he was taking too long to connect the first part (rebutting the previous question) with the second part (which usually was the related answer to the current question). I saw both of them doing this.
Or maybe kerry jamed his ass, and that's why he appeared to be such a bumblefuck.
