naww... this girl is trouble.
it sounds like she thinks you're just someone to prop up her self esteem while she gets over the other guy. i don't know how many times i've seen a girl say she wasn't ready to date... yet end up going out with a guy a couple days later. don't think i'm being misogynistic, but girls really do often have a problem with this. maybe they're just trying to spare your feelings, maybe they're unrealistic about their own, maybe they're just outright lying... fact is: they rarely mean what they say with this kind of talk.
take the advice of the previous posters. ignore her for a while and see if she chases you. maybe she will, maybe she won't... at least you won't spend the next weeks/months following her day-to-day whims.
