Braves are always the underdog it seems.
I don't speak about others, but I'm just happy to be a braves fan. This whole reign under bobby cox has respectable and exciting for me. If we win, yea, if we lose there's another year. I wouldn't mind the world series, but honestly i'm thinking about it and in the future with my son and daughter, when I talk to them about baseball I won't tell them about how my team was bought, or how my team just had one fluke year, but more about how Bobby cox and his staff made something out of what people considered nothing (Players I mean) and did that year after year.
Ask yourself this guys, do you blindly love your team, or do you respect your organization.
That's the level it's come to for the braves for me. Even if I wasn't a fan, I know enough that I respect the organization and the foundation they created. I feel the same way for the Dodgers, and St. Louis too.
I'm exicited for the Dodgers, and i think great pitching always wins. I really want to see Atlanta vs. the Dodgers because they have the best games. Stars in slumps like Green and C. Jones become heroes over night, and then people who aren't stars also can get that one hit that makes baseball so wonderful.
