MLB Fans: Ready for an amazing finish?
The AL West looks like it could come down to the last game of the season. Meanwhile, the Dodgers have been pulling off miracle after miracle against teams over the last couple weeks and they need only one win this weekend against the Giants to clinch the NL West. The NL Wildcard is even tighter, and while none of the teams are playing against eachother, it looks like the Giants are completely out of it if they don't sweep the Dodgers, despite being tied for the Wildcard lead.
That's just the regular season. Now, I hope you all agree that last year's playoffs (as a whole) were THE most intriguing and exciting playoffs to watch ever. Every single series was filled with great plays and tension-filled games. The Red Sox. The Cubs. We got spoiled last year. Well, I think baseball has only begun to get exciting. I think I'm gonna get spoiled in October.

Well the Angels made it!! HORAY!!
Bring on the Yankees!! Not only cause we have their number bu also because I think Boston is more dangerous than them. But I think anyone wants to play the Angels in the playoffs. We got some momentum going and Vlad is on a tear right now. GO ANGELS!!! Oh and I'm rooting for a Angels/Dodgers world series

today is going to be an awesome day, Houston/San Fran both have to win. Could set up a 1 game playoff if houston loses today and San Fran wins. Clemens is going on 3 days rest I believe i read, San Fran countering with there ace Schmit. Wild stuff, looks like Houstons bats have come alive so I think they will win today force bonds and company out. should be awesome day of score watching inbetween football!

Well the sad thing is. no matter how far Boston makes it in the play offs the bottom line is that cannot win the World Series they are not allowed and the whole town knows it.
so psyche yourselves up all you want. In the end you know that your team will fail. Boston knows the one and only thing that they can do to lift the curse and they have refused to do it. They need to leave Fenway park as their home. Yankees are in deed Boston's daddy. It would be fun to slap the Dodgers around in the world series but it will prolly be ST Louis against NY.. And St. Louis is one scary team.

the cards are cooling off while the 'stros are heating up. twins have the pitching to knock the yanks out in the first round if they keep playing tight. best possible series story at this point would be clemens pitching and losing at fenway.

Braves are always the underdog it seems.
I don't speak about others, but I'm just happy to be a braves fan. This whole reign under bobby cox has respectable and exciting for me. If we win, yea, if we lose there's another year. I wouldn't mind the world series, but honestly i'm thinking about it and in the future with my son and daughter, when I talk to them about baseball I won't tell them about how my team was bought, or how my team just had one fluke year, but more about how Bobby cox and his staff made something out of what people considered nothing (Players I mean) and did that year after year. Ask yourself this guys, do you blindly love your team, or do you respect your organization. That's the level it's come to for the braves for me. Even if I wasn't a fan, I know enough that I respect the organization and the foundation they created. I feel the same way for the Dodgers, and St. Louis too. I'm exicited for the Dodgers, and i think great pitching always wins. I really want to see Atlanta vs. the Dodgers because they have the best games. Stars in slumps like Green and C. Jones become heroes over night, and then people who aren't stars also can get that one hit that makes baseball so wonderful.
