People who think tupac is overrated really havn't listened to tupac. I agree that the versitility of his rapping and it's presence in today's world does make him one of the greatest rappers of all time. I mean look at songs like Hit Em Up, where he just can't stop yelling and shouting and venting every ounce of his hatred, compared to Dear Mama where he can't stop rapping about his undying love for his mom even though she was a crackhead bitch. What I'm pointing at here is the same qualities you find more in music THANKS to tupac. what do you think EMO is? seriously all these whiney assholes...yeah...they're doing the same thing that tupac did (be it tupac did it sooo much better and at a different level). However, if you do love tupac you have to keep it in perspective, he's a rapper, not a poet.
