Rachel, just make sure you do TONS of research (on the risks, WHO will be doing the procedure--sometimes residents do most of the work). The surgeons that the military has aren't the best, although that's what they want you to believe (my stepfather is proof of that..now he has a 4yr old son b/c they didn't do a vasectomy right). Make sure that you know a lot about the surgeon and the anesthesiologist doing the anesthesia... that's super important.. they keep you alive.
