A note on elective plastic surgery provided by the military, for the few people that have wondered:
Until recently, the army would preform these procedures for soldiers who had 'deep rooted phsychological insecurities' or whatever. Obviously, this was a joke, since anyone could portray that that wanted the surgery. The military finaly realized this earlier in the year, and opened up elective surgeries under the basis that it provides needed practice for their doctors. Oddly (and luckily for the soldiers going under the knife electively), most stateside 'military' surgeons are civilian contractors right now.
