ok sorry. but i liked it because it takes place in an area close to where i live. i also enjoy books of the end of society type. where the character is a common person that faces adversity. i deplore plots where the character has be through all sorts of secret training and uses special weapons. to me thats no challange only over kill.
the character in this story starts out as a weak female executive that is very anti-gun and very trusting in her fellow man. when the riots break out she sees just how mean and vicious people can be. so shes along way from the mack bolan ar a kill squad type character. it was interesting to see how see copes.
there were some sex scenes that figured into the story. she also has a romance with a survivalist type man that helps her to understand what has happened and helps her along the way. but she doesn't depend on him like a helpless person.
