I'd definitely find another motherboard to use to check out which component is fried. I wouldn't spend money until I knew the exact problem. I guess that's easy for me to say since I have so much computer shit laying around in my room. Either way, all I can recommend is testing out the components with another CPU and mobo before buying anything new...especially since your processor is still top of the line for gaming.
