Wow, she's your girlfriend before you've kissed? I don't think it's because she's got "major brains" that she hasn't done much with a guy. Smartness has nothing to do with it! The hottest women aren't chatted up as much as you think they are, because guys think 'She's outta my league' and go for someone else, leaving the super good-looking women alone.
Anyway, if you want to kiss your girlfriend, just do it! If she's happy to be your girlfriend then I'd say she's just waiting for you to make the first move here. Once you get that first kiss out of the way (which can be truly memorable) you'll have no trouble kissing her after this. Being boyfriend and girlfriend gives you a ticket to kiss whenever you want!
Next time you're just chilling out together, during a movie, after a nice conversation or when you drop her off after a date, or when she says something cute or nice, or when you've just pulled up at a red light and she's looking at you from the other car seat, or when the commercial comes on the television, or when she's in the kitchen making a coffee, or when she's looking at something in a store window... mate, there are a zillion 'right' times for a great kiss, I could go on and on here. I think there are very few 'wrong' times to do it, and those times you'll probably know instinctively.
