That had to be one of the most solid feeling cars I've ever driven before I ruined it while trying to save it :P

I was at work when it started to rain really hard so I went to look at the parking lot to see how bad things were. It had rained so hard, so fast, that the water came up to the tops of the wheels.
I waded out to my car to see if water was getting inside and sure enough, the floor mats had turned dark black from the water coming inside. I waited for evryone else to move their cars before I tried moving mine, just to make sure I'd be ok. Everyone made it.
So then I wade back out to my car, roll down the windows from the outside using the remote and jump in. I got it started easily, drove it 30 feet and then stalled. I knew you should never try to start a motor once its been flooded so I climbed back out, said screw the interior and waited 4 hours for the water to go down then tried again. It clicked, made a half turn then nothing. My new car was dead.

Insurance says they'll take care of it so now I'm waiting for the dealership to settle on a price with them and fix it. Volvo says it needs a new engine and the interior needs to be stripped down and dried out but I'm afraid it'll never be the same again. Bastards are taking too long...

Anyways, while it was alive it was a flawless car, at least to me. The inside is crisp and has Feng-Shui energy flow about it. Light yet solid at the same time; a Scandinavian trait. The ride is very smooth, the engine responsive and the body feels like it was carved from a diamond it's so hard.

I highly recommend everyone at least try one. Of course anything beats my old VW that had so many holes in it that my feet would get wet when it hit a puddle....
