I have read that the tubal carries higher risks, since it is a more invasive surgery, and that it "can" do things to a woman, for example lessen the sex drive, or increase the sex drive, cause continued problems with gas etc.... that a vasectomy doesnt do to a guy.

I would also like to hear from any woman that have had it done and how life has been for them since they did it.
I had a tubal. For one, my husband said, "Hell no!" to anything sharp down there. But, I knew I didn't want anymore kids, and I was tired of the pill. So, I had a tubal. No sweat...outpatient surgery. Painful for a few days, no biggie. (I do have a high pain threshold, though). LOL Ummm...sore shoulders from the gas and being blown up for the surgery. Other than that, not a problem. No scarring -- only a teeny tiny one in my bellybutton area, not noticable, and one in the pubic area, also not really noticable.
