That whole list seems a like it has a bit of a western slant, but maybe that's just because I think that most food west of the middle east (with a few exceptions) isn't worth eating. At the very least I would have expected more restaurants with names implying that they served asian food.
For probably the best food (and definitely the best chinese food) I've had I would have to say the Szechwan Wok in Silverton (suburb of Cincinnati), Ohio. It's kind of a hole in the wall type of place, but the food is the best that I've every found, and I've eaten alot of chinese in alot of parts of the world. If you're ever in the area stop in and try it; start with the pot stickers

The owners said they would probably be closing and retiring in the next couple of years, but they've said that if I'm really interested I can spend a couple of days with the chef in the kitchen right before they do, so you may see some of their recipes popping up on here...
