For the record, Metallica came in at #24 in my ranking, Nirvana at #47.

I laid the whole list out and asked myself of each band, are they better, more talented, more authentically hard rock (whatever that means. Difference between Pat Benetar and Mötorhead.), and /or more innovative than the band above them. If they were, then I bumped them up.
