I am 35. My wife and I have 4 children. The last one just about killed her. (4 months ago)I was really concerned that she not have another one. So I had the vasectomy done this year.
I have had no problems with mine. The actual process was a little strange. I agree with the pulling on the Vas. I think at one point I was ready to cuss at the Doctor, but it only hurt for a sec. I don't have any regrets. I find I want it more. Of course this does not mean I get it.
Taste I have no Idea. I would ask my wife. But she has no idea either. If he is ready for that step. 32 yrs old... Hmmm. It just depends on how mature he is. I would have to agree with clavus on the invasiveness of the tubal. And my old fashoned opinion is: Hell..she has given birth to four wonderful children. What the hell have I done? What is my contribution? SO I had it done. Still doen't match what she has been through.
