I can't answer any of your other questions, but I can try to answer this. You haven't done anything wrong and you aren't being punished. I know what it's like to have medical problems and wonder what I did to get them. It's not easy, but you'll have to learn to accept what has happened and become stubborn so you have the strength to fight any current or future health problems.
