yeah, our football team has had some down years lately, and I'm not trying to re-open that can of worms, but did want to brag about the second Baylor track athlete winning the 400 meter in the past 10 years. ESPN.com has an article about how it is weird that he's white.

And that fact seems to be the immediate second comment about his win in all the articles I've seen about him winning it, followed by the fact that he was from the same track program and same coach as Michael Johnson.
I think it's a shame that the fact that he's white is such a big deal, but, frankly, it is so unusual that I don't fault the media for mentioning it.
