I did a search and didnt see this particular thing covered so....

Dave and I are trying to decide which way to go....Im 36 and have had my one and only child...Dave is going on 32 and has had no children...does not want any. He is perfectly happy with being the stepfather to my daughter and decided a long time ago that procreating was not for him. While I cringe at the thought of him being cut "down there" and feel extremely selfish for it even being a consideration, it IS still an option that he is open to. ha ha his main question, after all the reading we have done on it, is will he taste any different and will that affect me and my desire to give him a bj....I've tried to assure him that I have indeed given bj's to vasectomized (new word?) men and I didnt notice any difference hehehehehe

I would like to hear from people (if there are any) that weighed the options of each one and what decision they went with and why.

I have read that the tubal carries higher risks, since it is a more invasive surgery, and that it "can" do things to a woman, for example lessen the sex drive, or increase the sex drive, cause continued problems with gas etc.... that a vasectomy doesnt do to a guy.

I would also like to hear from any woman that have had it done and how life has been for them since they did it.
