another thing today grabbed me - about the dreams being glimpses of the future - i was watching 'The Terminator' Speical Edition DVD extras and it said that James Cameron initally got the idea of the Terminator story from a dream, where he saw an image of the Terminator rising from the flames and that was what inspired him for the story - maybe this was also a glimpse into the future and was the glimpse of hisself watching the movie he made ... a long shot but maybe likely
