i agree that hitters should be able to protect themselves and should charge the mound or whatever they feel is needed when its called for. but its like a guy getting hit in the thigh when its 2 out in the 9th inning and pitcher is throwing a no-no. the hitter is retard to think he is getting hit on purpose. now the score is 15-1 in the top of the 3rd inning and sure, you might have an issue. but for christ sake the hitters now just think everything they get hit its a big deal. just like ortiz last night.
