Well, I'm a bit biased (
) but I think it's a wonderful thing. It's very freeing, and being in front of the camera (not saying that it has to be public... just has been in my case) has made me even more comfortable with my body and aware of my strengths and weaknesses. The first shoot I did with a real photographer, I really wasn't too happy with the results. The quality and experience was great, but I didn't find the photos very flattering at all. It's been through that process that I've discovered my most attractive traits and learned how to showcase them, ultimately making me a more confident and appealing person.
