Quick question; the "tandoori spices mix" you mentioned for the "indian style" kabob, does that come as-is in grocery stores, labeled as tandoori mix? indian grocery stores, perhaps? Or can you make it from other herbs?

Yeah that's what I wasn't sure of... I'm going to ask my friend when he's back in town.
edit - Just wanted to add that I substituted curry powder into the recipe and it was great.
