There is a small shop in my city that has unpainted pottery that you can pick out and paint for a few bucks.
It's an awesome date... girls really dig that stuff. Hell, you can even go to Wal-Mart and buy some plaster models and cheap paint and do it at home.
Also, try and find a coffee shop that has singers and small bands that play. The is a place called the Sun Shoppe where I live that does that, and it is an awesome date place. They also have board games that you can play for free. It's a very laidback place and an awesome place to talk and get to know each other.
