ah, yeah, i'm a huge fan of back roads. that sounds great. i know nothing of the strip of america between chicago and california (though i do know those two edges). also know nothing about the south, except florida. good old urban coast-dwellers.
i'll get to those places some day, though-- presumably, i have six decades left to get there...
