I love adult ed. I've taken spanish and candle making. I'm thinking about volleyball (just cuz I love to play) and tennis (my husband plays but I'm horrible).
Does your city have an art hop/walk? We started going to ours each month which started leading to other activities in the community. Now we're also going to a poetry slam each month. We try to grab different friends to join us each month so it's always a change of pace.
Getting some friends around to go hiking/ camping always leads to an adventure. Choose and activity you'd never do by yourself and get everyone fired up about trying it together. We hiked a mountain (half dome) and went white water rafting.
