I had a customer driving a $80,000 car come in to make arrangements for us to replace the tires on his wife's car and put brakes on if needed. He wanted the absolute cheapest tires and the cheapest brake pads because " she only needs it to take the kids to school and do her running around" When I commented that she didn't need to be safe for that he got quite put out. He spends more for 1 tire on his merc then he is willing to spend on all the maintenence on his wife's family hauler.
