Absolutely.
No cause could succeed without followers behind the leader.
We like to think of ourselves as leaders always. It is what we are taught to strive for - to be the team captain, the CEO, the President. But those people are nothing without backup.
It could be your purpose to serve, to follow, to be the spear carrier, the right hand man, the assistant, the canon fodder... The world needs followers.
(In fact, it should be SOMEBODY'S purpose to serve me a beer. I'm getting a little dry.)
