A Jennings is marginally better than a rock.
Of South-African origin, they are cheaply made of investment-cast zinc alloys, and have a well-deserved reputation for unreliability, and in particular for kB-ing in unpredictable and spectacular ways, frequently injuring their owners/users. They are the definition of "throwaway gun" as, after 2-3 rounds, throwing the gun becomes the best use one can make of it, as it has probably malfunctioned, exploded, or otherwise become a chrome-plated paperweight. The accuracy of such weapons is abominable, and on the off-chance that it survives more than a few hundred rounds, the barrel will likely be worn smooth, reducing your weapon the equivalent of an 1800-level noisemaker, but without the nice wood stock and brass finishings.
These weapons ( if they can even be called such ) are a total waste of time, money, and ammunition; DO NOT BUY. If you need a pistol and are on a budget, a Makarov or CZ-52 will suit your needs, cost only a little more, be infinitely more reliable and ( in the case of the CZ-52 ) be quite a bit more powerful, as well. Check southernohiogun.com for both these weapons.
