Like has been noted above.... It's called a cabin out west.
Anyway, we have had a cabin 3 hours west of Calgary now for 20 some odd years. It's near a town called Invemere in BC. I love it out there. Spent most of my summers there growing up and was very fortunate to be able to do so. Lots of fun on the lake, and in the mountains on dirt bikes, and hiking etc.
The oldies are doing a lot of work to it this summer, turning it into more of a primary residence for themseves. Going to be a totally different look for the cabin, but it will always be the same place for me with a ton of great memories. And I'm actually going to be going out there right after lunch. Can't wait.
