I'm not really getting the whole story. Do you live in Boston? Did you travel far to hang out with her? Is there really an age difference?
Personally from the little that I gather thusfar -I think that she is lonely and could use your friendship. Be a little more forward and don't let her blow you off unless she says "go away".
