As per the bulk of the group, I agree... go for it!
Randomness is just how life works. When you are set up by people (basically the opposite of a random hookup) there are expectations. If it doens't work, who is to blame sort of thing. Random hookups are perfect. If it doesn't work, it's nobody's fault. No one needs to feel bad.
I met my wife on HotOrNot. I had just come home from Basic Training and AIT. I clicked on "Yes" to meet a few new people. I wasn't even looking for a relationship at the time... nor a fling. I just legitamtely wanted to meet new people. I went out with Jen once and my life changed forever. Taking a chance is what life is all about. If you're too afraid to take chances, life will never be what it could.
