Well....the only jobs I have had with a training class were telemarketing and waiting jobs. I dont know if this is what you are doing....but if it is something like that and you are not planning your future around it......by all means, go for it.
If this is a job you are planning on keeping for a long time, dont do it for reasons already said. I wouldnt do anything like that at my job now....because everyone who works there is long term.
But like I said....if most of the folks who work there are not long-term......do it.
