I like the 20-25mm smart rounds instead of .50. cals. Why simply punch through a wall when a person can be shot through a window and killed by fragmentation. The rounds are heavy but way more accurate and with less kick than conventional rounds. Sadly I think the Army went with the X8 instead until energy weapons are ready.
